We have been working with Danse Dezines since 2013 who approached us to create their new catalogue for dance teachers.
Their previous catalogue used very heavy, coloured backgrounds which swamped the product images. We lost the backgrounds all together on the TuTu pages and where we did use backgrounds, on the Show Time pages, these were much more subtle with the intention of complementing the costumes rather than distracting from the products.
What wasn’t conveyed in the previous catalogue was that the customer can customise their costumes to their specification in terms of materials, colours and finishes. To get this across in the new catalogue wasn’t easy but we have reinforced this message throughout with messages on the footer of the right hand page and various call outs such as ‘Want this but in a different colour? Just Ask!’, ‘Cant see what you need?’ and ‘Upgrade your TuTu’.
Since creating their catalogue, our digital team has also developed an e-commerce web store for their whole sale and direct brands. We look forward to working with Danse Dezines on their new catalogue in 2015!
